Founded by James F. Fisher, MAI in 1989, Realty Advisors (formerly Western New England Appraisal) rapidly gained regional prominence as one of the foremost commercial real estate appraisal firms in New England. Its reputation for quality work product attracted a staff of seasoned professionals with experience in both local and national real estate markets. In response to demand from regional financial institutions in the Boston area, an eastern Massachusetts office was opened in early 1991 under the direction of Thomas G. Fisher. MassComp Data was formed in 1993 as the first database of commercial real estate transactions in Massachusetts; it is now used by hundreds of appraisers and lenders and is part of the Appraisal Institute's national commercial database. In 1994, buyer brokerage, site selection and advisory services were added, creating a full service firm. Today Realty Advisors serves clients throughout New England from offices in Dennis and Hanover, Massachusetts.

Mr. Fisher has qualified as an expert in U.S. Bankruptcy Court, the Massachusetts Appellate Tax Board, Hampden County District Court, Berkshire County Superior Court, local housing courts, and has provided valuation services for land damages and right-of-way purposes.
